Ecovolt has been among the first to explore what the PV5 can offer as a camper. We were the first in the UK to cut and fit a full tinted window, and the first to fit a full-width rock-and-roll bed made especially for us by Rusty Lee Beds. We’re building on that experience to create thoughtful PV5 conversions that make the most of the van’s flexible space.

PV5 Full Conversion
At Ecovolt, we’re turning the Kia PV5 into a practical, comfortable van for weekends away and longer adventures. We’ve already completed a number of PV5 conversions, including ¾-width bed layout and full-width beds with bespoke kitchen pods. Every van and every owner is different, so we’ll talk through how you plan to use yours before helping you choose a layout and the right options.

Choose a layout that suits your travelling style, with bespoke furniture designed for your van and your storage needs. We can discuss bed size, seating, kitchen storage and practical details such as where to keep your gear.
Conversion options include Skyline pop-tops, windows and Rusty Lee rock-and-roll beds. We can also fit Dog G8 dog guards and create a bespoke Ecovolt centre console with useful storage to keep everyday items close to hand.
Power for life off-grid

For trips away from campsites, we can install a separate Fogstar or Roamer lithium leisure battery system with Victron equipment, giving you a dedicated source of power for your camper van.
We’ll help you choose a setup to suit the way you travel, with options for charging and powering your onboard equipment.
V2L is useful, but some PV5 owners have told us they need to leave the van in Utility Mode to power their camper equipment, and have experienced lights or wipers coming on, as well as trouble locking the van or alarms sounding. A separate lithium leisure system gives you dedicated power for your lights and appliances while the vehicle is switched off, so you can settle in without relying on Utility Mode.
